School Based Health is our Primary Goal.

Carthage Area Hospital's primary goal is to improve access to primary health services for

the Beaver River Central School students and

to meet the primary physical, dental and emotional health needs of the students.

What is a school-based health center?

A school-based health center provides complete physical, mental and preventative health services to school-aged children in a school setting.

School-based health centers are designed to ease access to health care by reducing the barriers that have historically prevented children and youth from seeking the health services they need.

The staff will provide access to a full range of services for all students, regardless of health insurance coverage.

The staff includes a Physician, a Physician Assistant, an L.P.N., Registered Dietician, Dentist and a Psychiatrist.

Mr. Joe Millard, Carthage Area Hospital , will oversee the clinic and staff.  Please direct all concerns to the clinic administrator.
