Smart Schools Investment Plan

In November 2014, the voters of New York State approved the Smart Schools Bond Act on the general election ballot.  The act calls for up to $2 Billion to be bonded and divided between school districts in New York pursuant to aid ratios, with Beaver Rivers allocation of this funding set at $876,507.

To help guide the district in where to invest this funding, ECC Technologies Inc. was retained to study Beaver Rivers Technology and Security infrastructures and provide specific recommendations on necessary updates and potential improvements.  The study was conducted by Bill Hayes, senior consultant with ECC, between August and December 2015.

Using the ECC report, the district's Technology Plan, and other initiatives, Beaver River is pleased to present the following Smart Schools investment plan.
