Greater Thousand Islands Literacy Councils 2026 Writing Contest

Congratulations to 8th grader Faith Boliver who places 3rd in the Greater Thousand Islands Literacy Councils 2026 Writing Contest! Faith, her family, and English Teacher were invited to a reception for all winners at Carthage High School on April 1st. The theme of this year's contest was "My Dream Job". Faith wrote about wanting to work in Healthcare due to liking helping people. There were 13 different local school districts in Lewis and Jefferson counties.
